There are many different types of brain tumors, some of which are cancerous and some of which are noncancerous. All brain tumors are a mass or growth of cells in your brain. Brain tumors grow at varying rates and can exist in different parts of the brain. All of these factors contribute to whether or not a brain tumor needs to be removed.
