Dr. Ali Raja is a board-certified neurosurgeon who specializes in Cranial and Spinal Microsurgery. He trained in neurosurgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences under the tutelage of Professor Gazi Yasargil, Dr. Sam Al-Mefty, and Dr. Ali Krisht, where he completed his residency training. He is also Fellowship-trained in Pediatric Neurosurgery from University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, along with extensive training in Skull Base/Vascular Neurosurgery at Arkansas Neuroscience Institute.
Dr. Raja is certified by American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS), and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). He is also an active member of American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), and Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), in addition to several other national and international neurosurgical organizations.
